In 1987, the Rotary Club of Raniganj envisioned a lasting community service and identified the lack of professional physiotherapy services between Burdwan and Barakar. With generous community support, the Badri Prasad Bagaria Memorial Rotary Physiotherapy Centre was inaugurated on 15th February 1988, honoring chief donor Mr. Bagaria. Guided by renowned physiotherapist Mr. Pranab Dutta (Pranab Da), with over 25 years of experience, the centre provides affordable, quality care, especially for children, at subsidized rates. Open 10 AM-5 PM (except Sundays/holidays), it offers treatments like cervical/pelvic therapy, massage, galvanic/faradic stimulation, wax baths, ultrasound, infrared, diathermy, custom exercise programs, CPM post-knee replacement, and specialized machines. Serving as a beacon of healing, the centre stands as a testament to Rotarys dedication, community generosity, and the power of service to transform lives.
